I have always loved having a neutral wardrobe and can't bring myself to buy the bright version of something when there is a neutral version of the same piece - the only time I buy bright colours is when I want a statement piece. So you can imagine that I am very happy that beige is on trend at the moment. It is versatile, functional and so chic!
“Women want classics that are going to last and wearing beige is one sure way to achieve just that."
Since fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Balmain and Tom Ford showcased the monochromatic colour in their Spring/Summer 2019 collections we have seen it everywhere. The best part about this trend is that you know that it isn't just a fad and will always be wearable no matter the year or season meaning that your money will be well spent on any beige pieces that you add to your wardrobe.
My personal favourite way to wear this new fashion favourite is with either black or white, animal print to add dimension to your beige look or to mix up variations of the colour such as tan, camel and cream. And don't forget that you can play around with textures too - linens, silks, cottons, tweed.

This colour has always been a staple in most wardrobes - we just needed some reminding of how timeless and versatile it really is. Have a look at my Beige Aesthetics Pinterest board for some more fashion, lifestyle and interior inspo.
